Our mission is to foster a just, inclusive, and equal society in Afghanistan by offering policymakers evidence-based solutions to national issues, grounded in the aspirations of all segments of Afghan society, especially those of women and girls.
Who We Are
Our story began in 2014 when we founded DROPS in Kabul, Afghanistan, with a vision to aid the country’s transition from war to peace through policy research, training, and advocacy. In 2021, we expanded our reach by establishing operations in Canada.
We are a diverse team of over 40 professionals, including researchers, surveyors, peace facilitators, and trainers, all deeply knowledgeable about Afghanistan’s political, economic, and security landscapes.
Our expertise ensures that our research is comprehensive, relevant, and impactful. We collaborate closely with local partners across all 34 provinces, maintaining a strong community-based approach.
What We Do
We offer a range of services designed to keep Afghan citizens at the heart of all political, social, economic and development efforts, including gender-segregated data collection, detailed policy analyses, and specialized training in critical thinking and research methodologies.
